The annoying daily task of marking them as sp@m has prompted me to require a little more effort when you post a comment. It is that annoying verification code. As If I Needed Yet Another Reason to Love Chicago...

I adore Chicago. Being in Milwaukee, we get down at least once a year. We are planning a trip this November (the picture at left was taken in November, too).  It makes me giddy just thinking about it!

So that hip site, Chicago Apartment Therapy, gave me another reason to love my southern neighbors. They put a picture and a link to my Fabric Bulletin Board on their site yesterday.  My blog traffic tripled! I hope I have some new subscribers - if so, please give a shout out and let me know you are out there.  Also, please vote on my next project!

Wow.  Not Martha, my favoritist of bloggers, mentioned my King Cupcakes!  I checked my stats and couldn't believe the number of hits. Thanks, Megan! For that, I will whip up a batch for you next time you are in Milwaukee or I am in Seattle.

I always tend to wonder if I have any readers though I pretend I am just writing this for myself. It is always nice to hear from people and to be recognized on another blog. So thanks for brightening what happened to start out as a crummy day for me.
