Well, I'm bummed at how my pictures turned out but happy with my little quilt! I made this for my mom's birthday using a quilt pattern included with the Moda Wuthering Heights Tin kit. I used binding tips from Heather Bailey.
I'm very pleased at how fun it was to quilt and how it turned out. I've been teaching myself how to quilt and I get confused a lot. This was done with Paper Piecing which was a great technique. I'll be happy to describe in detail how I did it upon request.
I embellished with vintage buttons, trim, and ribbon.
However, I'm concerned with the
binding. The front turned out great but I didn't like seeing my stitches on the back - I couldn't find an instruction for dummies that spelled the stitching out for me. I'd really like it if anyone who quilts could give suggestions. My picture is at right but it may be difficult to see my stitches.
Oh yeah, I don't really know how to do any quilting stitches so I just made it up.
The good news is I think my mom liked it.
