Since I haven't seen any new hot shots of Daniel Craig ever since he threw away the hotness in the name of Broadway, I thought I'd share with you this vintage, immaculate hot shot. Happy Birthday, Daniel.

With a lack of good hot shots from Daniel Craig, I bring to you The Boss. Not bad for 60, hey?
We were lucky enough to see Bruce with the E Street B and and meet up with my friend, Scott, last November for my 6th time, I think.

Good heavens. How can I plan a trip to New York? Who can pay for it? How will I get tickets? What will I wear? Should I change my last name to Broccoli? How do I get backstage? Roses or lilies? Swoon.
Oh yeah, Wolverine, the man who wrongly beat out Daniel Craig as sexiest man alive, will also be there.

Meet Wool Flower Heart Daniel Craig Daniel. To be fair, I did not name him. Also, so you don't think my Daniel Craig love has gone too far--Aidan's middle names are Daniel Craig after uncles and his grandfather. AND I never heard of the stud actor Daniel Craig until years after Aidan was born. So there.
I made this little guy using a pattern from Melly and Me. I got the idea from Stacy. I bought the pattern from my new favorite shop - Pink Chalk Fabrics.
You may notice a few things different about Wool Flower Heart Daniel Craig Daniel. First of all, his head is on upside down. I sewed his vintage button eyes on before placing his head on his body (button eyes are a change from the pattern). I did this twice and removed them once only to do it again. I didn't notice the second time until the cockeyed ears were on so I just left it. And you know what? I love it. He looks a little more sheep to me than cow.
What killed me about his pattern was that his coat is removable (it has a zipper) so that you can shear the sheep. Once I found that out, I had to have the pattern. Wool Flower Heart Daniel Craig Daniel's coat is made from chenille and so is his head. I'm not sure about the name of his body and hoof fabric but I got it at Patched Works in Elm Grove.
The best part of the experience (outside of the name) was just how thrilled Aidan was with him. He loves him so much. I love sewing for him. It is one of the best things in my life.
Happy Easter!

On a glorious March 2 in 1968, the ground shook, the angels sang and wept, the heavens parted and Daniel Wroughton Craig was born.
I swear I don't keep track of his birthday. Really!!! This time, I was reminded by Carmen. Carmen is a DC fan that thinks I have a direct line to Daniel. Oh Carmen, I really understand your need to connect to Daniel. I also really wish I could get your birthday greeting through personally.
Anyway, here is Daniel looking almost like he did the day he was born. I know I've used the mankini picture before but what a picture!

Wolverine is hot alright, but not as dead sexy as Daniel Craig. This is a mistake by People of epic proportions. Smoking hot picture, though. I have to give thanks for that.

Brief summary: The hotness of Daniel Craig did not disappoint. There is no quantum to his gorgeousness.
Last night, Jeff and I went on our biannual movie outing. Something about not having money and a 5-year-old seems to slow down our pop culture experiences.
We dropped Aidan off at Grandma's and headed to the nearest theater. We used a gift card and free popcorn passes to pay for most of our experience. Thanks Heather and Susannah!
Company: Jeff was with me and was smoking hot and smelled of some awesome sandalwood aftershave.
Theater: Unbelievably not packed and someone brought their baby. Yes - their baby who, not surprising to anyone but the parents, immediately started crying.
Theme Song: I disagree with my last review and have decided it is grating. I hate Alicia Keys.
Locations: Um, was there scenery? Appropriately gorgeous.
Bond Girls: Oh - there were women besides M? Appropriately gorgeous. Nice homage to Goldfinger.
Action: Non-stop and breathtaking. I loved it.
Bad guy: Creepy. Looked like his eyes were all pupil. He was so little though that I had a hard time believing he could put up much of a fight with Mr. Bond.
Shirtless scenes of Daniel Craig: Way too brief. No mankini. Nothing. *sigh*
Daniel Craig: Piercing blue eyes, slightly too much ear, pouty mouth, beautiful in tight clothes. Plays brooding excellent. Smoking hot.
Funnily enough, I browsed the TV after we got home last night and caught part of an old Bond with Pierce Brosnan. I can't remember which one - Halle Berry, the sister from Pride and Prejudice, John Cleese and an invisible car. Lame. I know there are people out there that like the lame fights and gadgets but I think the movies with Daniel Craig are so much better. That said, I've enjoyed those movies in the past and would really like to see some of the earlier ones again with that wife-smacker, Sean Connery.

I don't care about the reviews saying that the movie is just a big extension of Casino Royale because I happen to love that movie.
What I do care about is I think we may have a babysitter for Saturday night so that I can ignore Jeff and long for mankini scenes and wallow in the manly hot manliness of Daniel Craig.

The hotness that is Daniel Craig will be on The Tonight Show on Friday, October 17 to discuss his hotness.
Guess I'll be canceling my evening plans.

I've always had a bit of a crush on Jack White. I think he is weirdly sexy in that tall, skinny, David Bowieish, bone collecting, rocking guitar playing, Loretta Lynn-loving, really-Renee Zellweger?, red-wearing, crazy haircut, super white skin, trying too hard kind of way. I was pretty hyped up to hear he wrote and performed the new Bond movie (Quantum of Hotness, er Solace) theme song. Then my heart sank as I heard Alicia Keys would be singing with him. I think she is talented and lovely but I can't stand her whiny voice. That said, the hotness of Jack White and his guitar make the song good. The end of the video makes it worth watching. Here's my review:
Song : Pretty Good
Jack White : Hotter
Alicia Keys : Tolerable
Video : Daniel Craig makes an appearance so I give it a 'Smoking Hot'
Watch and rate in the comments.

Apparently, Daniel Craig has stated “I’m not going to put those trunks on ever again!”
Hey Daniel, let's not forget why some of us watch Casino Royale over and over again. The collective female (and some male, I'm guessing) audience gasp around the world when you stepped out of the water in your tight blues should convince you to make another effort on behalf of us.
If I hear that you are going to lose the pout them I'm quitting cinema completely.

Sam Taylor-Wood is a lucky gal who took this photo of Daniel Craig. Alright, she is an artist who made photographic portraits of leading actors crying called Crying Men. I bet we can guess who the hottest crier is. Years ago I would have said Ed Harris but that was before he was beat with the pompous stick.
I do wonder what Daniel is thinking of. Is it a big deal getting a guy to cry on cue if he is an actor? I could cry on cue right this very instant. Load up some sappy Mastercard Priceless commercial for me. Oh boy, just the mention of them is starting to tap the waterworks.
On a side (but related) note: a couple days ago Aidan tried some spicy food and said it was smoking hot.

Here's Daniel, taking a break from filming for some charity. Even his finger, which was just about hacked off at the tip, is a little hot. In fact, Daniel Craig is so hot that even Barbara Broccoli, the producer of the Bond films had to PAY for a kiss from him.
*sigh*
I guess that ear nibble I've been dreaming of is way out of reach.

I figure you are sick of pictures of flowers and weeds. So feast your eyes on Mr. Craig. Good news at the sassy household - The Golden Compass arrived from Netflix today.
Now go hug your spouse and your kids and enjoy Mother's Day.

Oh boy, it is Wednesday and time to ponder the hotness of Daniel Craig.
*pause and ponder*
Perhaps Daniel is thinking he can't get any hotter than this unless he's in a tight mankini.

Casino Royale is on Showtime all month. Hot dog, we subscribe! Jeff notes that we actually own the DVD. I personally feel like it is a little present to be flipping the channel and stumble upon Mr. Bond.
You're welcome.

So one of the top searches for my blog from the UK is Daniel+Craig+Apron. I understand why my blog is a hit with my sassy pictures of Daniel Craig and my tutorial for my brother's apron. However, I don't get the search.
Is Apron a slang term for some body part? Has somebody actually created a Bond apron? If so, please pass along the link! Will one of you crazy Daniel Craig UK fans explain the search to me?
On a related note, my brother-in-law had the nerve to ask me, "Who the hell is Daniel Craig?" Chalk up another family member who doesn't read my blog.

Guess who is picked as GQ's smoking hottest man of the century? OK, man of the year 2007... OK one of three men of the year...
Let's just say he is the hottest of the 3 men. Kanye West and ex-prez Bill Clinton are the other two.

Looks like we'll have to wait until August for Daniel Craig's next movie. Bond 22 won't be out until 2008. *SIGH* At least I can keep up with him through our new found friendship.

I do not know the blogging secrets to getting readers and getting comments. I am hoping that my posts aren't too boring...
Anyway, it appears that I get most of my readers because of my posts about Mr. Craig. I understand. I really only created this blog to keep track of my various craft and baking projects. But I do go off on Daniel Craig tangents - enough so that he has his own category.
So, if you found this by looking for a smoking hot photo of Daniel Craig, here you go.

I really didn't mean to influence Aidan using my obsession with Daniel Craig. We really did come up with names like Lambie, Louie, Shep. In jest, I mentioned Bond and it stuck.
This little lamb has been a bit of a thorn for me but had a really happy ending.
I started him using vintage chenille (you can see on the front there) and following a 1944 pattern. For me, vintage patterns and vintage fabric don't mix. I make mistakes and ripping vintage fabric ruins it. Thus the reason Bond's head is a little cocked and his coat is mixed.
So I used some handy fleece to help with the job. Vintage satin is used for the ears, vintage buttons for the eyes and a nice silk ribbon is tied around his neck. My first grade embroidery skills are used for his nose and mouth and branding Aidan's name on.
Thus the reason Bond's mouth is a little cocked.
I made this to give to Aidan as an Easter surprise. However, he saw me "embroider" his name on and starting squealing with delight because he realized it was for him! He was so excited he ran around the room. Mommy shed a little tear. Aidan snuggled with Bond all night. Thus, the happy ending.

Here's a little Friday eye feast. Tomorrow is Poker Night and guess who is coming over? Unfortunately, Daniel Craig can't make it but Heather and Susannah can. We are playing a little poker and then watching Casino Royale. I'm so excited!

I don't know where to begin. It is a bit embarrassing as I am a wee bit older than 17. However, I have a huge crush on Daniel Craig (James Bond in Casino Royale and a bunch of other movies I subsequently rented).
Jeff and I, on a rare night out, chose to see James Bond. I didn't really care--I haven't been a huge James Bond fan but do love action flicks. Seeing pictures of Daniel Craig did nothing for me. But then the movie started. I was sucked into his masculine manly man-ness. When he came out of the water in his little blue swimtrunks, I audibly gasped. I feel quite silly as I've never really cared about men in swimsuits.
Jeff doesn't care and humors my daily mention of Daniel Craig. He joked that I would be the only person standing in line to buy Casino Royale when it came out on video (March 13). I didn't stand in line but I sure as heck bought it.
So the Casino Royale DVD was left in the player and Aidan took it out to put one of his movies in. We couldn't find where he put the DVD and I had a bit of a hissy fit. I then realized that perhaps my crush on Daniel Craig has gone a bit too far (daily conversations about him, countdown to the DVD release, computer background of this very image).
All is well. The DVD was found. We will be watching the movie within a few nights. Did I mention that Aidan's middle names are Daniel Craig? No fooling. He is named after his uncles and grandfather yet in some mystical premonition, he is also named after one hot guy (two actually if you think that his name of Aidan is named after Carrie's boyfriend, Aidan, in Sex and the City). I swear that I had never heard of Daniel Craig before Casino Royale. Only one more year until Bond 22...
Don't even get me started on Mr. Darcy.
