If recouping some money wasn't the goal, I would tell you to hang on to it if you like how it works. It's always good to have a machine that you can take to a class without dragging along your "good one". Or maybe it makes better buttonholes, or does a particular stitch better than your new one. If you're really not that attached to it, then craigslist is perhaps better than eBay...only because you don't have to deal with shipping....but knowing your experience with eBay, shipping probably isn't as much of a headache as I see it. :)

is there a Craigslist for your area? Then someone would have to pick it up locally, and shipping wouldn't be a bother.
